Twas the night before Taste-Mas and all the beer has been bought, not a beer is missing not even a stout.
It’s time for our Fifth Annual 12 Days of Taste-Mas. This year’s selection was picked from 3 different areas in and around Toronto. Like last year we are starting on the 19th and ending on the 30th. Starting later gives us a few more non-work days to drink our selections.

December 24: Eastbound Brewing Co. Hold on, I’m Coming’ Home for the Holidays Belgian Christmas Ale 9%
December 25: Falcon Brewing Co. Keira’s Kiss Chocolate Peppermint Stout 6.6%
December 26: Junction Craft Brewing Traditional Bock 7%
December 27: Godspeed Brewery Daidai Saison with Japanese Bitter Orange 4.7%
December 28: 5 Paddles Brewing Co. Fa La La La La Niagara Red Wine Barrel-Aged Cinnamon Red Sour 7.5%
December 29: Blood Brothers Brewing Unify or Die Flavoured Stout 7%
December 30: Left Field Brewery Friendly Confines Strong Stout 7.2%

This was a nice way to kick off Taste-mas 2017.
This is an easy drinking stout with a subtle gingerbread finish! I was expecting a little more gingerbread flavour, but the more I drink, the more I realize that the amount is perfect – it’s not a slap in the face.
I love the generous bottle size (650 ml). If only every beer was this big I’d be a happy man!
