Well this was an interesting beer. The aroma has a bit of a Banana in there and you can taste the 5 spice for sure. I think having this 9% brew in a small 355 ml can was a good idea, I think any more in 1 sitting and it would have been too much to handle. I enjoyed the flavour and drinkability of this beer.
I love fruitcake. I do not love fruitcake flavoured beer. Although this is an exceptionally easy drinking beer for 9%.
This one gets points for going outside of the normal gingerbread Xmas brew!
A break from the porters! But not from the gingerbread! Surprisingly drinkable (cold) for 9%, but I don’t think I want to let this warm up in my glass. Very flavourful novelty beer, with ginger, banana and spice. But this time without the toasty porter flavour. I agree that 355 mL is a good size package for this product.
