Wow. This, to me, tastes almost exactly like cream soda! I cracked this open after unloading the car into an icy cold cottage, thinking maybe a stout would warm my bones while the fire warms the cottage. It turns out, the Glenlivet I follow it with is going to serve that purpose better.

Anyway, back to subject at hand. I like this, but it really is super sweet. I would love one (and probably only one) on a hot summer day. It really does remind me of a cream soda (which kinda makes sense, because I think traditionally that beverage also includes milk products). Also, the most vanilla flavour I’ve ever tasted in a beer. I think this is truly one of the most unusual beers we have encountered at Tastemas!

Well this is exactly as you would figure it is! A light drinking, creamy, low carbonation milk stout style brew that has the great flavours of eggnog

As long as you like eggnog you’ll like this brew!

Following this with a homemade shortbread cookie was perfect. It’s a great brew to have around for the holidays!
