This is a great brew – but the bottle needs to be bigger. I am glad it came in a six pack!!!
There’s just enough of a hint of cherry in this to give it a bit more character than the usual coffee and chocolate flavours typical of porters. I wonder if I’d have recognized it as cherry if I hadn’t known It was in there. I like this one a bit more than yesterday’s porter.
Two words: Not Awesome. Looks like I will save the extra 5 bottles for when I see Chuck next. The taste of cherries was too mild to give the porter the extra umph it needed. It poured the typical dark black colour with a caramel head. The taste did have the usual notes of chocolate and coffee.
